Celebrate 75 years of the iconic money-loving miser, Disney’s Scrooge McDuck! First appearing in the 1947 comic book story, ‘Christmas on Bear Mountain’, he’s now adventured his way onto a 1/4 oz gold coin! This special anniversary memento is fully engraved to showcase Uncle Scrooge in his stately attire, top hat and glasses, and holding his beloved money. This is offset wonderfully by a mirror-finish background, accentuating the beautiful fine gold. Some relief and texture, using sandblasting, has also been added to the design. As legal tender, the effigy of Queen Elizabeth ll can be found on the obverse. Officially licensed, the coin is held in a quality display case inside a special edition 75th anniversary-themed outer box. A Certificate of Authenticity is also provided and shows the coin’s unique number in the limited mintage.
