The New Zealand Mint Coin of the Year is an annual award celebrating excellence in modern numismatic artistry.
Presented in association with Niue, the 2026 awards recognise exceptional coins issued under the Niue effigy, celebrating creativity, innovation, design and technical craftsmanship.
Submissions are now open. We invite our Niue effigy customers to submit their outstanding 2026 Niue effigy coins for the opportunity to be recognised among the year’s most remarkable numismatic achievements.
